This was such a cute slow-burn frenemies/rivals-to-lovers story. It was fun, entertaining, and such a good read. I really enjoyed their chemistry and how, although they tried to stop their feelings from developing further because they were on opposing sides, they just couldn’t help it, and couldn’t help spending more time together. I enjoyed seeing their friendship develop and also seeing that turn into the romance we eventually got. The various side characters, and friends and family of Lily and Rupert also made this book even more enjoyable and fun to read. If you’re in need of a cute, fun, cosy-type rivals-to-lovers romance story, pick this one up, you won’t be disappointed!
Stacy Gonzalez and Eric Altheide were excellent with the narrations. Their voices, and the emotions that were portrayed, helped bring the story, and its characters to life. I definitely felt all the feels!
